Blog Question: Is bullying a rite of passage of childhood and adolescence? Is it apart of the maturation process one needs to go through to reach adulthood?
I don't think that anyone deserves to be bullied just to be accepted into another age. The victims shouldn't have any more pain or problems in their life than they already are going through. Being bullied can actually affect a person's life later on when they are adults. Most bullies themselves have been bullied, and they are getting their aggression out on another person. In order for people to handle situations they do have to have gone through challenges and conflicts in life but i think that bullying too has to have boundaries. The victim should learn how to be strong and stand up fro themselves, but as I pointed out sometimes bullying can be carried on from person to person.

uYeah, i liked how you raised up the point where Most bullies themselves have been bullied and they are getting aggression out on other people, because that is sometimes the case. I think, most bullies have been haunted with past experiances and then they take out their anger on someone else. I also agree that, nobody deserves to be bullied just to be accepted into another age..
In the end, when you said the vistim should learn how to be strong and stand up for themselves.. sometimes bullying can lead to a fear. The victims may feel so scared they don't stand up for themselves or anything. So yeah..
I loved how you answered the question so breifly. Rock on. hehe.
